The intergenerational correlation of employment in Europe: a cross-country analysis

We analyse the long-run intergenerational correlation of employment in Europe, providing cross-country evidence. Using 2011 special module on Intergenerational Transmission, from European Union Statistics Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC), we between current status respondents, that their parents when respondents were 14 years old, nine countries. Estimates show varies across countries by gender, is, most cases, small or non-statistically significant.
